WELCOME LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP
Welcome to the Banana Shire Council Libraries Services!
As a member, you can use you library membership to access library collections in branch or 24/7 access via the online catalogue.
If you have signed up online, to make borrowing permissions active, you will need to present in branch and provide proof of residential address using one of the acceptable forms of identification below:
- Driver's licence
- Rates notice
- Pension card
- Utilities bill eg electricity or telephone
- Rent receipt
Banana Shire Council Libraries Services membership provides you access to a range of services, such as:
- Borrowing up to 20 items for 3 weeks, including up to 4 DVDs or CDs, from any of the 4 branches or Mobile Library
- Up to 2 renewals, unless items are reserved by another borrower
- Free reservations for collection at the branch of your choice
- Free use of public access computers, including internet use
- Photocopying, scanning,and printing (fees apply)
- Free access to eBooks and eAudio (Libby and Borrowbox), the links are on our website
- Home Library Service for those with medical conditions
Your Library card is required to borrow items.
