Dear U_Name_e U_Name_a,

Bayside Libraries are excited to start welcoming the community back post lockdown – we have missed you!

On Monday 27 September we begin our Click & Collect service as the first step of a gradual return to normal services.

What does this mean?

From today you can reserve up to 10 library items.

Item/s will be available from Eastgardens and Rockdale Libraries for collection on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am – 3pm as part of our transition back into opening our Libraries.

Here’s how it works:

Reserve your items at https://library.bayside.nsw.gov.au

For phone reservations please call 1300 581 299 between 8.30am – 4.00pm

Library staff will contact you when your items are available for collection.

Collect your item/s:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10am – 3pm at Eastgardens or Rockdale.

Don’t forget your library card

Click & Collect is a contactless service.

All items will be loaned onto your account before you arrive, as arranged between you and the library staff member who confirmed your day of collection, to maintain minimal contact and social distancing.

Library members will be required to wear a mask and check-in to the Library with the QR Code provided.

We ask you not to come to the library if you feel unwell and/or have flu-like symptoms.

As of 27 September 2021, Bayside LGA remains an area of concern. Library members from outside the Bayside LGA should check the latest NSW government restriction before collecting items.

The library will gradually extend its opening hours and services in compliance with the State Government and Public Health Order for public libraries.

Visit our website at https://library.bayside.nsw.gov.au or the library’s Facebook page for updates.

If you would like further information or require assistance, contact your local library or email enquiry@bayside.nsw.gov.au
